Death has receded in a theatrical display, and you'll never match the mark that it's made with all those failed attempts in your way. The spark that lit the fire beneath you was an illusion created by trust. So as resolution came it made perfect sense, that your mind feigned the progress that didn't quite explain your sudden petrification.
And yet with such attention to detail, you regrettably only remember the sound of that one, single heartbeat during that hour of silence that we'd love to forget. But those reverential tones are all that's stuck in my head.
To lose concern of its structure, would be to renounce the sovereignty you said you'd kill for. And to ignore what it's capable of, despite that you just have to know that it's there, would be to dress yourself in the skin that this expression of death so desperately aches to shed. But at this point I have gathered that you are never meant to be outdone.
And as you went arrhythmic, we could see the compromise you were cursed with. And we're not saying that it went undeserved, but regardless we need to know, we demand to know: when you were on your way out, who's life flashed before your eyes?
